Best of all, it had anti-corrosive properties and UV stabilization. A high strength cord provides uniform loading resistance to tearing in all directions. There are at least 50 strands per square foot. The inner layer is impregnated with a volatile corrosive inhibitor which protects both coated and uncoated ferrous metal surfaces. Both inner and outer layers are UV stabilized. Heat Shrink Reinforced offers a high strength, very durable cover in a lightweight material.   [Click here for heat shrink wrap information](https://www.globalplasticsheeting.com/heat-shrink-wrap/?hsLang=en-us)  Call (619) 448-4439. Combine high strength polyethylene film with a heavy-duty scrim reinforcement pattern, and you will have tear resistant building enclosure. The result is sheeting that resists puncturing and responds to tears immediately by surrounding and stopping the tear. ## Heavy Duty String Reinfoced Plastic Sheeting ### **Poly Scrim 6** **Poly Scrim 6** is a 3‐ply, 6 mil extrusion laminate combining two layers of linear, low density polyethylene high‐strength cord grid. It is specifically engineered to provide high strength and durability in a lightweight material. **Product Characteristics:** - Multiple layers and cord reinforcement resists tears. - Grommets, tie‐downs, hems, zippers, drains, and 3‐D custom shapes available. - Flexibility and light weight allow for easy handling and quick installation UV stabilization protects the material from degradation during extended exposure to sunlight. - Floor covers, dust partitions and clean room enclosures. - Temporary walls, plant dividers, building enclosures and containment tents ## Poly Scrim 6 FR **Poly Scrim 6 FR**- Similar to Poly Scrim 6, but in the fire retardant version. [Please click here for additional information for Poly Scrim 6 FR](https://www.globalplasticsheeting.com/hs-fs/file-2204649522-pdf/docs/poly-scrim-6-fr.pdf?hsLang=en-us) ## Poly Scrim 8 LD **Poly Scrim 8 LD** is a 3-ply, 8 mil extrusion laminate combining two layers of linear, low density polyethylene (LDPE) and a high-strength cord grid. When you need a little heavier duty tarp, consider Poly Scrim 8 LD. **Product Characteristics:** - Long life expectancy allows for significant cost savings through reuse and fewer replacements. - Custom fabrication is available to meet your exact specification. - Cold-crack resistance eliminates failures in extreme cold temperatures. - Low permeability greatly inhibits moisture transmission. - UV stabilization protects the material from degradation during extended exposure to sunlight. - Custom fabrication is available to meet your exact specifications. - Class C, ASTM E-1745-97 Standard Specification for water vapor retarders used in contact with soil or granular fill under concrete slabs. **SUGGESTED APPLICATIONS:** - Temporary walls, plant dividers, building enclosures and containment tents.
