GLASS CLOTH LAMINATE TAPE- GC-SH7

7.6 mil Electrical Grade

GC-SH7 is a 7.6 mil electrical grade, woven fiberglass cloth, coated on one side with a high performance silicone adhesive. This pressure sensitive tape is designed for use in strategic masking off of areas for thermal spray / plasma spray operations. It can withstand exposure to temperatures up to and in excess of 500°F. The high tensile strength and dimensional stability of the glass cloth backing are combined with a high quality silicone adhesive to produce a tape that is conformable,
chemical and solvent resistant, and printable. The tape is wound on a 3” white plastic core.

GC-SH7 APPLICATIONS:

 Masking applications for thermal spray and plasma spray.
 Used for coil wrap, crossover insulation, and coil banding.
 For insulation of electrical apparatus in military equipment.
 To seal / bundle non-electrical applications where flame retardency or high heat resistance is
required.
