EnkaDrain Subsurface Drainage System for Planter Drainage

Planter Preparation

 Ensure planter is clean and free of rocks, soil clods, or other debris that may interfere with drainage system
performance.
 Ensure planter bottom has adequate slope that allows proper flow to outlet drain system.
 Check compatibility of adhesive to membrane.
Installation
 Starting at the longest direction of the planter and moving in the opposite direction of the
fabric flap, cut the Enkadrain to length and place the fabric flap against the planter bottom.
 Place a bead of construction adhesive 0.125 inches to 0.25 inches (.3cm to .6cm) in a zigzag pattern along
the edge of the Enkadrain that will be covered by the fabric overlap. Lay the next strip of Enkadrain. Repeat
this until planter bottom is covered.
 Measure the perimeter of the planter. Cut a strip of Enkadrain to the measured length and place horizontally
around the planter wall.
