Sidewall Rainscreen or Façade Ventilation
Our Sidewall (rainscreen) products keeps the back side of the siding free of moisture which accumulates during cold weather and provides a channel to drain water that may have penetrated exterior materials. Research shows that effective rainscreen ventilation is a powerful drying mechanism that serves to extend the exterior lifespan and improve the interior quality of the building.
Effective rainscreen ventilation solutions:
- Prevent moisture from getting inside the structure
- Create a cavity for drainage and ventilation
- Provide a path for water to drain down to weep holes
- Provide a path at the top to exhaust rising warm air
- Redistribute moisture through evaporation and diffusion
