UV Stabilization

Question:
I have been looking at SolaWrap for over 5 years. My biggest question is about the UV stabilization in relation to life span.

Does SolaWrap use a unique UV stabilizer that allows it to keep its light transmission better than other polyethylene greenhouse coverings? My farm is in Vermont. 

Answer:
The short answer is yes, but it is also the type and quality of the resins used. 

Most greenhouse films will have some percentage of regrind or lower grade resins to keep cost down. Ours, though hard to see from photos, is actually very clear as polyethylene goes.
