What does a fire retardant film have over its cousin the non-flame retardant poly? The ability to stop burning when it is hit with a flame. It will not keep burning and drop large pieces of plastic in the way of burning drips. The danger lies in the fact that they can catch surrounding boxes/ items on fire as well in a hurry.
