What is Stretch Hooder Film?

Stretch hooder film is a packaging application that uses a tubular film which is sealed at one end while the other end is stretched over a palletized load or object. It offers complete five-sided protection for load containment. It is applied with a specialized piece of equipment that tightly applies the film over the pallet. Stretch hood film offers an excellent seal, high resistance to tearing and puncturing, and offers load stability.

It is used to secure pallets, appliances, and is sued in many other industries. The film thickness can vary from .002 - .006 mil and is available in gusset tubing and flat tubing.
