PyroTarp Products- Fire Retardant Fabrics, Coatings/Paint

Pyrotarp products are highly effective in reducing the spread of fire. These products are available in pre-coated fiberglass fabrics and water based or epoxy based formulas.

Coated Roll Sheeting/Heavy Fabric

PyroFlex 920

PyroFlexTM 920 is a high strength material that can be used for welding blankets, to wrap manifolds, high temp pipes and ductwork etc. 56" wide x 50 yards.  This product
is lighter weight than traditional welding blankets, more affordable, and resists temperatures up to 800 degrees. Can also be custom made into wider widths.

Pyrosil

PyrosilTM  is a slightly heavier fabric, standard in widths from 62" to 96" wide. It is widely used to protect cargo from threat of spreading fires during transport or while
stacked in warehouses. Resists temperatures up to 1800 degrees for extended periods.  Also used as a lining for engine rooms.

PyroTarp

PyroTarp ® is coated on both sides, standard widths, 62" and 96" wide. This product  is commonly used to prevent the spread of fire in manufacturing areas like air craft hangars,
ship yards, power plants, and between walls in buildings. Excellent as a protective covering used for any area to contain the spread of fire.

Liquid Coatings-Resistant to Solvents, Salt Water, Thickness of a Business Card!

PyroTarp Epoxies are formulated from resins that provide excellent bonding strength, high resistance to cracking from vibration and flexing, significant resistance to salt water spray, high temperature-high humidity cycling, and resistance to most fuels and solvents. The coating is light weight, very durable and is highly effective in protecting many substrates from the effects of fire. Usually an application of no more than 0.010 inches (10 mils), roughy the thickness of a business card, is adequate to make aluminum, fiberglass and many composites resist fire to well over 2000°F. The coating may be applied at room temperature or at elevated temperatures up to 300°F if more rapid curing is required.

PTL ACR-113 (LV), Low Viscosity Water Based Coating. This is used mostly on materials where it penetrates the material to make the product FR.

PTL ACR-113 (H), FR Water Based Latex Paint, available in pastel colors. This is used to paint any walls to make them FR.  Excellent for applications on interior surfaces of ships. Passes the California 1350 (Environmental code which is very hard to pass) and it also passes the E84 and the ASTM 286 (ROOM CORNER TEST)

PTL ACR-333C, High Viscosity Epoxy. Used as a Fire Retardant coating on materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass and aluminum.  Protects against corrosion and prevents ingression of moisture. Resists salt water, jet fuel, runway deicer, salt spray and most solvents.

PYROTARPTM 113ACR is a water-based, low smoke, low heat release, intumescent, refractory fire resistant coating for glass, and hi-temp films or fabrics. It is a white, free-flowing water-based polymeric emulsion with a low surface tension and fast drying rate. It gives outstanding durability, tint retention and dirt resistance. It is flexible, UV, water and mold resistant. Adhesion to most substrates is excellent, providing an outstanding moisture and fire barrier. Curing requires some heat.
