VaporBlock®20 Plus (20 mil)- The Poly Sheeting Gas and Mold Blocker- 7 layer co-extruded barrier AKA Radon Plastic Vapor Retarder
VaporBlock 20 Plus plastic sheeting is a 20 mil polyethylene, high performance vapor barrier intended for under-slab applications where soil-borne gases like radon are a concern. VaporBlock 20 Plus (radon plastic) is 50 times less permeable than typical high-performance polyethylene vapor retarders. This is due to its tight cell structure.Superior unmatched impact strength for both under-slab and vertical wall applications.

barriers in the building industry today far exceeding ASTM E-
1745 Class A (Plastic Water Vapor Retarders Used in Contact with Soil
or Granular Fill Under Concrete Slabs). The 20 mil thickness is designed to meet the most stringent requirements.

This gas blocker is much less expensive than comparable products. A 10-foot-by-150-foot roll costs about $470. For radon blocking, seams should be sealed with a special foil-backed tape (VBP4VB Plus Tape) that costs $32 per 4-inch-by-210-foot roll.

Crawlspace 1800-High Performance Vapor Retarder-Basement Plastic Sheeting
Crawlspace 1800 is an 18 mil (true thickness) heavy duty reinforced 6 layer extrusion lamination designed specifically for use in the crawlspace and basement industries. This film has a black back layer and two layers of bright white film, giving it a very bright white front side for a pleasing appearance. Designed as a cost effective wall covering/vapor retarder, Crawlspace 1800 is well suited to the needs of the crawlspace and basement industry.
Crawlspace contains at least 50 strands of high strength cord per square foot, in a square pattern. Because all layers are extrusion laminated together using molten polyethylene, this is an incredibly strong film, yet, lightweight and easy to use.
Though designed for the crawlspace and basement industries, Crawlspace 1800 can be used in many applications. This heavy duty plastic sheeting for a crawlspaces can also be fabricate into 3-D shapes, add many accessories, like bung ports, drains, grommets, hems, and loops. Crawlspace 1800TM is currently stocked in 12' x 100' and 20' x 50' rolls. Available in many custom sizes.

SilverBack DrySpace -The 12 and 20 mil string reinforced Crawl Space Vapor Barrier-The basement professional's favorite!
SilverBack DrySpaceTM is a distinctive product designed specifically for crawlspace and basement encapsulations. SilverBack is offered in TRUE 12 mil and TRUE 20 mil thicknesses, with Bright White front-sides, and high-tech looking Silver back-sides. This polyethylene based film is reinforced with heavy duty scrim reinforcement for added tear resistance. Both exhibit extremely high levels of strength. SilverBack is engineered to be an excellent vapor retarder.
12 mil is recommended for Walls and lower traffic areas over soils that are free of items likely to damage the liners. 20 mil is recommended for heavier traffic areas, areas where one wants to store items, and for crawlspaces with rocks or other debris below the liner. Depending on the circumstances, a non-woven geotextile may also be recommended under the liner.
