Heat Shrink Wrap is used for many purposes, including wrapping of Yachts, Boats, Bridges, US Navy Ships, Scaffolding, etc.
Global Plastic Sheeting specializes in the industrial range of these films, primarily supplying larger sheets, for the heavier duty applications. While we can supply needs within just about any range, we stock primarily 9 mil and thicker, mostly Fire Retardant versions of Heat Shrink Wrap plus the accompanying accessories.
Heat Shrink Reinforced-VCI/UV
Heat Shrink Reinforced VCI/UV is a 3 ply reinforced clear laminate that is heat shrinkable. Best of all, it had anti-corrosive properties and UV stabiliazation. A high strength cord provides uniform loading resistance to tearing in all directions.There are at least 50 strands per square foot. The inner layer is impregnated with a volatile corrosive inhibitor which protects both coated and uncoated ferrous metal surfaces. Both inner and outer layers are UV stabilized. Heat Shrink Reinforced offers a high strength, very durable cover in a lightweight material.

Cap Rail Covers
Cap Rail CoversTM
Cap Rail CoversTM were custom designed for protecting the cap rails on yachts during periods of construction, refit, docking, maintenance, or at any time when the rails might be damaged by workmen activities in the area. Cap Rail CoversTM are made from ½” (12.7mm) foam. The pieces are 72” long (1.83m), the inside dims of the pieces are: Each leg is 3.75” (95.25mm) and the distance between the legs is 6.75” (171.45mm). The outside dimensions are 4.25” (108mm) for each leg, and the backbone is 7.75” (197mm). These are packed in bags containing 20 rail covers. Many of our customers slit the rail covers in half and use them to protect many other edges throughout the vessel. These covers will absorb a very significant impact before any damage is done to the surface below.

Tacky Door Mats
Are there times when it's inconvenient to ask passengers to remove their shoes? Tacky Door Mats will trap dust, dirt and debris from the base of the shoe, protecting your deck or salon. There is a sticky side facing up to trap the debris. These mats are stacked like a pad of paper. When the pad is sufficiently soiled, remove it and uncover the next sheet.
