Flexshield is a flexible window and door flashing designed to conform to half round or elliptical windows and arched doorways. Flexshield also provides a conformable seamless method for forming a pan flashing in window sills. It seals door and window perimeters to building substrates creating an impenetrable barrier. This butyl adhesive is designed to be installed in a wide range of temperatures down to 30°F. It does not react to solvent based materials and is very compatible with common caulks and sealants. Fortress Flexshield has excellent adhesion to typical building materials such as housewrap, vinyl, OSB, plywood, concrete, aluminum and other metals. It can be left exposed for up to 12 months during the construction process.
