Question: I have read about Environmental Stress Cracking or ESC that can be an issue with HDPE. Do you offer a product where ESC is not a concern?
Answer: XR-5 is not subject to the environmental stress cracking problem because XR-5 will not fail due to contact liquids, stress concentration (geometric irregularity / mechanical
damage), fatigue (thermal cycling), residual stress (seam welding), localized stress (subsidence) and membrane surface imperfections (scratches/ gouges / nicks).
