Enkamat 7010 for Erosion Control
Enkamat 7010 is permanent erosion control protection mat that is made of monofilaments which are fused together where they cross. It is a flexible three dimensional open structure which allows for 95% of the volume of the mat to be available for soil filling. These features allow for positive integration and immediate stabilization of the soil sloped surfaces while providing an enhanced environment for seed germination.
Even before the vegetation develops, Enkamat 7010 offers immediate protection against erosion. The way the mat is built allows it to reduce the impact of wind and water on the surface thus preventing soil runoff. There is a biodegradable backing stitched to Enkamat 7010 that offers extra protection at this stage.

Enkamat 7008/7010-Metal & Wood Shingle Roofs
Enkamat 7008/7010 is a three-dimensional, multi-use mat, made of continuous nylon filaments fused at their intersections. It can be used in ballasted and metal roofing applications as well as on wood shingle roofs where spacing of the roof will provide the ventilation and drainage needed for a long service life. The nylon filaments do not fall under the load of the roof and the rigors of the construction environment, including construction foot traffic. The space between the roof membrane/weather barrier under layment and the ballast/metal roof will allow any moisture to flow away or evaporate. Best used with zinc roofs. The 7010 offers the same benefits on wood roofs as it does when used in a metal roofing application. It has a Class A fire rating in accordance with ASTM E84.

EnkaRetain & Drain 3111
EnkaRetain & Drain 3111 is one of a new generation of products designed specifically for vegetated roofs. This multi-function composite consists of a 50% post-industrial recycled polypropylene drainage core of fused, entangled filaments and a specially formulated water retention fabric bonded to one side. The entangled filaments are molded into a square waffle pattern that maintains the flexible design of other Enkadrain products. The composite water retention fabric consistsof a 8 oz/yd² - 100% post consumer recycled non-woven polyester fabric mechanically bonded to a 12 oz/yd² layer of synthetic hydrophilic (water) absorbent mat. The absorbent mat is designed to hold 10 to 12 times its unit weight of water. It is a very strong, durable composite that is extremely resistant to puncture and tearing. The composite is inert to biological degradation and naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, and acids.

EnkaRain Drain - Colbond commercial rainscreens
EnkaRain Drain 9714 combines a 95% open V-Groove matrix for continuous water flow and a filter fabric that prevents mortar or stucco from closing off the drain cavity. In applications where a filter fabric is not required, Enkamat 7004 and 5006 can be used.
