Enkamat 7008/7010 is a three-dimensional, multi-use mat, made of continuous nylon filaments fused at their intersections. It can be used in ballasted and metal roofing applications where spacing of the roof will provide the ventilation and drainage needed for a long service life. The nylon filaments do not fall under the load of the roof and the rigors of the construction environment, including construction foot traffic. The space between the roof membrane/weather barrier under layment and the ballast/metal roof will allow any moisture to flow away or evaporate. Best used with zinc roofs.
Recommended Applications
Spacer between ballast and loose laid, fully adhered or mechanically attached roofs
Spacer between zinc and other metal roofs and the weather barrier underlayment/plywood substrate in sloped applications
