Global Plastic Sheeting specializes in the industrial range of heat shrink wrap films, primarily supplying larger sheets, for the heavier duty applications.  While we can supply needs within just about any range, we stock primarily heat shrink wrap in 9 mil and thicker, mostly Fire Retardant versions of the Heat Shrink Wrap plus the accompanying accessories, such as Heat Shrink Wrap tape. 

Heat Shrink Reinforced-VCI/UV

Heat Shrink Reinforced VCI/UV is a 3 ply reinforced clear laminate that is heat shrinkable. Best of all, it had anti-corrosive properties and UV stabilization. A high strength cord provides uniform loading resistance to tearing in all directions.There are at least 50 strands per square foot. The inner layer is impregnated with a volatile corrosive inhibitor which protects both coated and uncoated ferrous metal surfaces. Both inner and outer layers are UV stabilized. Heat Shrink Reinforced offers a high strength, very durable cover in a lightweight material.

REINFORCED ENCLOSURE PLASTIC

String reinforced poly sheeting will hold up under harsh weather condition. Combine high strength polyethylene film with a heavy-duty scrim reinforcement pattern, and you will have tear resistant building enclosure. The result is sheeting that resists puncturing and responds to tears immediately by surrounding and stopping the tear.

Dura-Skrim 2

is a 6 mil "clear" light weight film that is string (scrim) reinforced.  It has UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers that allows it to hold up for up to 4 months outdoors.  It is a clear four layer reinforced extrusion laminate. Dura-skrim 2 is reinforced with a minimum of a 100 denier scrim laid in a diagonal pattern which is spaced 3/8" apart, with an additional machine direction scrim every 9" across the width. The individual plies are laminated together with molten polyethylene. The stock sizes are 6,8,10,12,16,20,24,32,40, and 60 feet wide, and 100 feet long! It has a diamond reinforced string pattern to resist tears. The film is accordion folded and tightly rolled on a heavy-duty core. This allows for ease of handling and save time during installations. 

DURA-SKRIM 2FR-Lightweight Fire Retardant Enclosure Film

DURA-SKRIM 2FR is one of our customer's favorite6 mil products because of its versatility! This polyethylene film is fire-retardant and is difficult to puncture, and has high tear strengths. Dura-Skrim 2 passes- NFPA 701, Test Method 2 (Large Scale), Canvas Products Association International, (CPAI) Section 6 (Flooring Material) and Section 7 (Wall & Top) , ASTM E-84 Class/Method A with a Flame Spread of "0" and Smoke Developed Index of "5", and ASTM E-96 Method A.

Dura-Skrim 10 HUV

Dura-Skrim 10 HUV is a 10 mil heavy duty plastic sheeting product used in applications that require good outdoor life and demand high puncture and tear strengths. The two outer layers of DURA-SKRIM 10HUV contain high concentrations of UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers to assure added outdoor life up to approximately one year.  It is available in a variety of widths and lengths up to 100,000 square foot panels.  All panels are accordion folded and tightly rolled onto a core for easy handling.  Custom sizes are also available.

Dura-Skrim 10 FR

Dura-Skrim 10 FR is a fire retardant four-layer reinforced extrusion laminate.  A high concentration of fire-retardant additive is added to the outer layers of high quality polyethylene film.  Dura-Skrim 10 FR is reinforced with a minimum of 1000 denier scrim laid in a diagonal pattern spaced 3/8" apart with an additional machine direction scrim every 9" across the width.  The individual plies are lamented together with molten polyethylene.

Poly Scrim 6

Poly Scrim 6 is a 3‐ply, 6 mil extrusion laminate combining two layers of linear, low density polyethylenes high‐strength cord grid. It is specifically engineered to provide high strength and durability in a lightweight material.
