Material
DELTA®-REFLEX is made out of a water-impermeable, corrosion-proof aluminum layer laminated between a transparent polyester film and a grid-reinforced polyethylene film.
Product Characteristics
DELTA®-REFLEX is virtually impermeable for water vapor. This highly effective barrier stops any vapor diffusion and thus prevents damage to thermal insulation and the building envelope throughout the lifetime of the structure.
DELTA®-REFLEX enhances thermal insulation by up to 10%. It also shields off 30% of hazardous electromagnetic radiation. In addition DELTA®-REFLEX achieves 50% heat reflectance as certified by Fraunhofer Institute, Freiburg (Germany) and creates a 100% air- and vapor-tight seal. With 350 N/5 cm ultimate tensile strength and an excellent fire rating (B1 - DIN 4102) this product is unmatched in its performance.
Application
The structure and material composition of DELTA®-REFLEX with outstanding flexibility make this contractor-friendly product easy to handle. The extremely high tensile strength (approx. 350 N/5 cm) prevents tearing during the installation. The flexible material allows for quick installations even in difficult places.
