DELTA®-MS UNDERSLAB is a tough waterproofing and underslab vapor retarder membrane designed for slabs on or below grade in residential and commercial environments.
Product Description
DELTA®-MS Underslab Vapor Retarder is a tough, impermeable vapor retarding membrane that is placed on the earth or granular prior to placing the concrete. It will not tear or rupture during normal concrete placing.
Product Characteristics
DELTA®-MS UNDERSLAB prevents the early loss of hydration water, thus producing a concrete that meets design strength, and provides more even curing characteristics in concrete.
The membrane offers a full capillary break and vapor retarder that prevents the upward migration of moisture through the capillaries that exist in all concrete. Additionally DELTA®-MS UNDERSLAB can act as a barrier to soil gases. This benefits the contractor and home owner by providing a healthy and dry environment.
Product Application
DELTA®-MS UNDERSLAB is placed on the soil or granular prior to pouring the concrete. The water/cement ratio should be kept at 0.45 - 0.5
