This film can be removed and replaced without losing its adhesive characteristics. We know a self-adhesive plastic film without any adhesive is a little hard to understand, but believe us this stuff works! Standard 3 mil or heavy duty 6 mil versions in privacy gray tinted plastic. Because there is no adhesive, this product cannot leave behind any annoying residue!! This will save you time and money on your repairs. Being able to peel this back, then re-stick it will also save lots of time and money. Disclaimer: This film is not quite aggressive enough to adhere effectively to most carpets, and we never recommend using anything self-adhesive to cover leather surfaces.
